Every animal has a story.
Discover some of the extraordinary reptiles you may meet during a Reptilian Encounters visit. Our animal line-up always puts welfare, confidence and suitability first.
Meet the animalsCalm characters. Curious personalities.
From gentle snakes to alert little lizards, every encounter is guided by our experienced team. Guests can observe, ask questions and—when the animal is comfortable—enjoy a carefully supervised hands-on moment.
Royal Python
Famous for a calm nature and beautiful markings, Royal Pythons are often a reassuring first introduction to snakes.
Western Hognose
Recognisable by that upturned nose, this burrowing snake brings plenty of personality to a close-up encounter.
Corn Snake
Brightly patterned and naturally curious, Corn Snakes give visitors a wonderful view of how snakes move and explore.
Bearded Dragon
With watchful eyes and a relaxed presence, Bearded Dragons are brilliant ambassadors for the world of lizards.
Royal Python
Royal Pythons are named for their habit of curling into a neat ball when they feel unsure. Patient, quiet observation helps them relax and gives guests a memorable introduction to snake behaviour.

The animals attending each experience may vary. We consider their health, temperament, rest and the type of event before every visit. Handling is never compulsory for guests—or for the animals.
